The Waypoint @ Painswick Golf Club

EST. 2018

Since The Waypoint first opened in September 2018, we have maintained a warm and welcoming environment where people can stop by for a refreshing drink and bite to eat while taking in our beautiful surroundings. 

 

We are open to the public all year round and can cater to a variety of needs. So, whether you live locally or are simply visiting the area, we invite you to make us a 'waypoint' on your journey.

LOCAL SUPPLIERS

We support our local farmers and small businesses by sourcing the majority of our ingredients from suppliers based in Gloucestershire. For example our local butcher, Martin's Meats, provides us with dry-aged longhorn beef that is used for our burgers and Sunday carvery (which is available during the winter months). We also stock a variety of local ales and beers including the award-winning 'Uley Bitter' which is brewed here in the Cotswolds.

AUTHENTIC DISHES

For our delicious sourdough pizzas, we use an Italforni Pesaro brick base oven from Italy to ensure authenticity. We top each sourdough base with our own homemade tomato sauce and fresh buffalo mozzarella which results in a Neapolitan-style pizza that you often find in the heart of Italy. 

VENUE SPACE

The Waypoint is located at Painswick Golf Club which offers superb views of the course and the rolling Cotswold Hills in the distance. Our venue is spacious and has a large sun terrace which offers the perfect backdrop for an event of any kind.
